The APEKSI Board Meeting, held on Thursday, 18 September 2025, in Jakarta, will be held in conjunction with an audience with the Minister of Home Affairs the following day. APEKSI will focus on supporting the Asta Cita program, showcasing the initiatives and achievements made by cities.
They will also discuss Regional Financial Transfers (TKD), which have a significant impact on city finances. They will also raise issues such as parking tax policies, delays in the formation of Regionally-Owned Enterprises (BUMD), and mandatory spending, such as for P3K and the inspectorate.
They will also strengthen advocacy efforts, not only through executive channels with ministries, but also through political channels with Commission II and Commission V of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI).
