Palangka Raya, Cantik City—The 5th Regional Communications Meeting (Muskomwil) of APEKSI for Kalimantan was successfully held with a simple yet meaningful atmosphere. The event, held in Palangka Raya, also known as the “Cantik City or Beautiful City,” lasted for three days, from September 26th to 28th, 2025, and was attended by representatives from 9 APEKSI member cities in Kalimantan.
Despite its simplicity, this forum served as an important platform for regional heads to strengthen synergy and formulate joint strategic steps for the advancement of cities in Kalimantan. Amidst the momentum of the development of the Indonesian Capital City (IKN), the role of satellite cities in Kalimantan is crucial, and APEKSI’s Regional Assembly Meeting (Muskomwil) is here to ensure targeted and effective collaboration.
The results of this meeting include recommendations, work programs, and the formation of a new board. The following is the composition of the Board of Regional Committee V, Chairperson: Mayor of Pontianak, Vice Chairperson I: Mayor of Banjarbaru and Vice Chairperson II: Mayor of Palangka Raya.
