Discussing the Follow-up Focus on Digital Transformation, Bappenas Holds Digital Grounds: Towards A Green Digital Economy

 

The Ministry of National Planning or the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) together with Deutsche Gesellschaft Fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmBH organized an event entitled “Digital Grounds: Towards A Green Digital Economy”. The event, which was held on Thursday (20/10/22) at The Westin Hotel Jakarta, invited guests who attended the event in person or through the Zoom meeting platform to jointly discuss the Green Digital Economy.

 

In his remarks, Daniel Schroeder as Lead Advisor, Digital Transformation Center (DTC) Indonesia stated that the ‘Digital Grounds’ can be used as a means to achieve the goals of ‘Green Digital Economy’.

 

In the material presentation and question and answer session, Riza Azmi as Head of Digital Entrepreneurship Academy (DEA) of the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia added that 75% of MSMEs failed when entering the digital ecosystem. This is due to the low number of digital literacy of the Indonesian people.

 

The discussion forum at the ‘Digital Grounds: Towards A Green Digital Economy’ event is not only about exposure, but also becomes a means of skills training, digital transformation planning, to training and equipping MSMEs to be able to contribute to driving digital economic growth.
