Bincang Muda: Bacarita Basudara

A warm atmosphere enveloped the Backyard of Hotel Borobudur Jakarta as APEKSI Muda and the Timur Network held Bincang Muda: Bacarita Basudara on Sunday, April 26, 2026. More than 100 diaspora youth from Ternate and Tidore gathered in an inclusive space to revive the tradition of “Bacarita,” a space for sharing stories typical of Eastern Indonesia, filled with camaraderie. This forum was a highlight of the Discover the Natural Treasure of Ternate and Tidore program series, a strategic collaboration between the Ternate City Government, Tidore Islands, APEKSI, and Hotel Borobudur to introduce the natural and cultural riches of North Maluku to the heart of the capital.

The discussion was enriched by the presence of key figures, including Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar and Special Staff to the President Tiar Nabilla Karbala, who were joined by Ternate Mayor M. Tauhid Soleman and Tidore Kepulauan Vice Mayor Ahmad Laiman. The discussion focused on strengthening the creative ecosystem so that local products and Eastern cultural heritage not only become regional pride but also highly competitive in penetrating the global market through the use of digital technology. This spirit of brotherhood provides a strong foundation for the younger generation to continue innovating and synergizing, proving that regional creativity is a key driving force for Indonesia’s future progress.
