APEKSI collaborates with Demi Kita in order to create prosperous Indonesian families through the Our Family Friendly City Program (KKRK).
Banjarmasin City as a pilot city, activities began with audiences, and coordination meetings with the Chairperson of the PKK Mobilization Team and related agencies. Implementation in the field begins with training of 40 regional facilitators which aims to enlighten the community’s mindset on the importance of family functions and capacities.
Provision of tools as a guide for the bride and groom in undergoing marriage. Assistance for community cadres in five sub-districts which also integrates with 117 participants from the Prospective Fathers and Mothers Candidate School (Saca Saci), as well as PIK-R and BKR.
This training has reached five (5) districts with 363 participants. Technical guidance and evaluation monitoring to assess the success and replication of the KKRK Program.
At its peak, on 28 July 2023, the City of Banjarmasin held an Expose of the Results of the KKRK Implementation with the spirit of “Rowing with Banjarmasin towards Our Family Friendly City. For the sake of creating an empowered and prosperous family” in the Kayuh Baimbai Hall, City Hall of Banjarmasin.
After this expose, training was expanded for sub-district facilitators. In his remarks and talk show session, the Mayor of Banjarmasin, in line with the Executive Director of APEKSI, invited the involvement of a wider range of parties, both from city government company owned, regional banking institutions, academics and various groups to collaborate in this program.
