MATARAM CITY — APEKSI, GIZ, 3RproMar, Waste4Change and the Directorate of Waste Management of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry collaborated for the Assistance Training on the Procedures for Calculating Waste Management Tariffs and Retributions which focused on coastal areas. One of them is Mataram City.
The FGD with the Mataram City regional apparatus was held on Wednesday-Thursday, October 2-3. This FGD aims to identify and validate the appropriate waste management scheme (SPS), as well as identify the SPS scheme and assumptions that are the basis for calculating waste management tariffs and retributions in Mataram City.
Sri Indah Wibi Nastiti, General Manager said that managing waste sustainably is not only the government’s job, but all parties including the community.
The City Government needs to have the capacity to calculate waste management costs (SWM) and retribution rates based on Permendagri No. 7 of 2021. [FP]
