
APEKSI attended the China-Indonesia Digital Trade Procurement Matchmaking Event in Hangzhou, China, from 15-19 June 2025. The presence of the APEKSI, represented by the Executive Director, was by prestigious invitation from the Hangzhou West Lake International Expo. This participation served as a crucial platform to strengthen economic and technological ties between Indonesian and Chinese cities. APEKSI actively explored opportunities in digital trade, procurement, and the exchange of knowledge on the latest technological advancements that can be adapted to enhance the efficiency and quality of public services across various municipalities in Indonesia.
The highlight of APEKSI’s participation was the presentation delivered by the APEKSI Executive Director, titled “Transforming Public Services: The Role of Digital Innovation in Indonesian Municipal Governance.” The presentation underscored how Indonesian cities are leveraging digital technology to create a smarter, more transparent, and responsive government to the needs of their citizens. Before international industry players and stakeholders, APEKSI outlined the successes and challenges in implementing digital solutions, ranging from citizen service applications to electronic procurement systems, reaffirming Indonesia’s commitment to adopting global best practices in its effort to realize excellent public services in the digital era.
