APEKSI Muda is a collaborative space for young people in APEKSI member cities to learn, create, and contribute to sustainable urban development.

This program aims to bring young people closer to urban issuesand bring the City Government closer to its young people. The phrase APEKSI Muda was initiated by the participants of #APEKSInternship Batch 6.

Joining APEKSI Muda means being part of a creative community that is optimistic, progressive, and believes that the future of the city will be better if its young people take part now.

APEKSI Muda Main Platform
  1. Youth City Changers (YCC)
    A forum for young people to engage in discussions on urban issues. Through YCC, young people’s ideas and recommendations can be conveyed directly to the city government to inspire policy and innovation.
  2. #APEKSInternship
    An internship program that provides students and recent university graduates with the opportunity to learn firsthand about city governance and urban issues. Participants also receive mentoring from experienced practitioners.
  3. BAPER – Take a Role
    A creative video campaign featuring young people’s voices about their role in urban issues. BAPER encourages young people to not only express their opinions but also to take real action through inspiring content. BAPER was initiated by #APEKSInternship Batch 4 participants.
  4. BISIK Podcast
    Digital media presenting stories, experiences, and inspiration from young people related to the urban world. This podcast provides a fresh and informative dialogue about how young people view and shape their city. The BISIK Podcast was initiated by #APEKSInternship Batch 5 participants.
  5. RUMPI (APEKSI Internship Column)
    A platform for reflection and sharing of stories from APEKSI interns. Through RUMPI, the internship experience doesn’t stop at the individual, but also becomes an inspiration for other young people. RUMPI was initiated by the participants of #APEKSInternship Batch 1.
  6. City Literacy
    A public education program packaged through online classes, thematic discussions, and creative idea competitions. The focus is on presenting innovative solutions to various urban challenges—from the environment, transportation, digitalization, to the creative economy.
