The Association of Indonesia Municipalities (APEKSI) together with PT Napindo Media Ashatama (Napindo), ASECH Indonesia, the National ICT Business Association (APTIKNAS) and Citiasia with the support of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology collaborated to hold a national forum in conjunction with the Indonesia International Smart City Expo & Forum (IISMEX) Integrated Technology Event (ITE) 2024 with the theme Indonesia Cities Outlook 2024: Smart People to Achieve Golden Indonesia 2045 and the Smart City Tech Festival on 19 September 2024 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo).
The event began with remarks: APEKSI, Napindo and the Acting Director General of the Administrative Region, Ministry of Home Affairs, also opened the forum. The keynote speech was delivered by the Director General of Culture of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology and a panel moderated by the CEO of ASECH, together with the Ministry of Home Affairs, APTIKNAS, Itron and Treeo.
