Globa Digital Trade Expo 2024


 

Hangzhou, China – The Association of Indonesian Municipalities (APEKSI) participated in the Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) 2024 which took place on 25-27 September in Hangzhou, China. As one of the Indonesian delegations, APEKSI actively participated in various activities held in this international digital trade exhibition.

 

GDTE 2024 is a platform for global digital industry players to showcase the latest innovations, and superior products, and establish strategic partnerships. The event focuses on four main pillars, namely:

  • Building a Global Digital Ecosystem: Forming a strong network between stakeholders in the digital trade ecosystem.
  • Exploring Global Cooperation: Facilitating collaboration between countries and companies to drive the growth of digital trade.
  • Promoting Global Digital Trade: Increasing awareness and understanding of the importance of digital trade in the global economy.
  • Sharing Achievements: Showcasing successes and best practices in implementing digital technology in various sectors.

During GDTE 2024, APEKSI had the opportunity to attend promotion meeting forums and business matching. In these forums, various leading global companies in the digital sector presented their innovative products and solutions, and shared their experiences in building a successful digital trade ecosystem.

 

According to Imam Yulianto, Institutional and Partnership Manager, APEKSI’s presence shows that the event organizers see APEKSI’s strategic position in building communication with local governments, especially city governments. One of them is related to global digital trade.

 

GDTE has become a space to take inspiration from various cities in the world. Cities that have implemented digital technology to improve the quality of life of their citizens and encourage economic growth. (FP)
