National Synergy: APEKSI Strengthens Commitment to Shining Indonesia at the Regional Level

LAHAT REGENCY – APEKSI (Indonesian Narcotics Association) affirmed its full support for the Indonesia Bersinar (Clean from Drugs) movement initiated by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and the Ministry of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (Kemendes PDT). Held at the Bukit Tunjuk Sports Hall, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra, on Thursday (January 22, 2026), this activity marked a crucial milestone in strengthening the national defense against drug abuse. APEKSI’s presence in this collaboration demonstrates that drug prevention is now a priority that must reach all levels of society, from urban centers to remote villages.

This concrete support was demonstrated through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the Socialization of the Accelerated Establishment of Integrated P4GN Service Units. Representing the Chair of the APEKSI Board of Directors, the Mayor of Bandar Lampung and Deputy Chair for Regional Government and Autonomy, Eva Dwiana, was present to sign the agreement. This active participation demonstrates the city government’s commitment to accelerating the strengthening of P4GN institutions in the region, ensuring that prevention and rehabilitation services are available in an integrated and easily accessible manner to city residents.

For APEKSI, this cross-sector collaboration is key to building social resilience against the increasingly complex threat of drugs. Through the Indonesia Bersinar movement, APEKSI continues to encourage all its members to take an active and innovative role in creating a safe, healthy, and productive urban environment. With strong synergy among the central and regional governments and the community, it is hoped that the vision of a drug-free Indonesia can soon be realized, bringing a brighter future for the nation’s generations.
