The APEKSI Directorate participated in a coordination meeting held by the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkopolhukam) together with the Telecommunications Tower Infrastructure Developers Association (Aspimtel) regarding Licensing Issues for the Development of Telecommunications Tower Infrastructure
\non March 8, 2023 at Hotel Savero Depok.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Problem:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Delayed issuance of Approval of Suitability for Space Utilization Activities (PKKPR).<\/li>\n
  2. There are still many regions that do not have an RDTR, which hinders the PKKPR issuance process.<\/li>\n
  3. The process of obtaining a Certificate of Proper Function (SLF) is not uniform in terms of requirements and document form as well as implementation period and costs.<\/li>\n
  4. The high value of the Building Approval (PBG) levy.<\/li>\n
  5. There are still regional regulations governing zoning, cell plans or restrictions on the construction of telecommunication towers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The problems above impede digital transformation in Indonesia. One result is the reduced number of investors in telecommunications infrastructure development, delays in the development of telecommunications infrastructure, and delays in the six strategic directions in the 2021-2024 digital Indonesia roadmap to build digital infrastructure and connectivity that is inclusive, safe and reliable in high-quality services.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The expected results are obtaining recommendations related to action plans in resolving problems with infrastructure licensing and telecommunications towers, in order to support the acceleration of the national digital transformation.<\/p>\n
