On this occasion, the Mojokerto City Government is channeling humanitarian assistance to communities affected by the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province. This handover of aid serves as a gesture of inter-regional solidarity and a tangible implementation of the spirit of *gotong royong* (mutual cooperation) among APEKSI members in assisting the recovery of disaster-stricken areas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Following intensive coordination with the APEKSI Regional Commission (Komwil) IV board, it was agreed that the aid would be focused on East Manggarai Regency, one of the areas that suffered the most severe damage. The powerful earthquake that struck the NTT region recently caused physical damage to residential areas and public facilities, while also disrupting social activities and the local economy. This swift inter-regional government coordination ensured that the distribution of supplies and emergency financial support was effectively targeted to meet urgent needs on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The APEKSI Executive Director handed over the aid symbolically to the Regent of East Manggarai, Agas Andreas, in Jakarta. This handover signifies the administrative regions&#8217; shared commitment to support one another during both the emergency response phase and the subsequent rehabilitation and reconstruction period.
