This partnership was formalized through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement on City Mapping and Visualization using Immersive Technology by APEKSI Executive Director Alwis Rustam and GoVirtual President Director Bobby Cendrawanto on August 26, 2026, in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Through VIP City, city potentials will be showcased in a more interactive and modern manner using technologies such as Virtual Tours, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), 3D modeling, and virtual exhibitions. The platform will be used to visualize assets, strategic projects, priority locations, and regional economic potential for prospective national and international investors. In the initial phase, each city will highlight at least two priority locations for visualization, which will be displayed via APEKSI member profiles, the APEKSI dashboard, and the respective city governments&#8217; digital channels.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration between APEKSI and GoVirtual also reinforces the &#8220;no one left behind&#8221; commitment, ensuring that all cities have equal opportunities to showcase their regional strengths and unique characteristics. Beyond the digitalization and visualization of investment potential, the partnership encompasses outreach, mentoring, education, and peer-to-peer learning among cities.
