Jakarta<\/strong> \u2013 August 6, 2026. We extend our sincere gratitude to all city government delegates, speakers, partners, and members of the public who attended and participated in the APEKSI City Showcase: Digital Leadership Dialogue 2026, held as part of the Digital Transformation Indonesia Conference & Expo (DTI-CX) 2026. The presence and support of all participants provided vital energy in strengthening inter-city collaboration and advancing digital transformation with greater impact. The enthusiasm shown both in the forum discussions and at the APEKSI Booth reflected the strong commitment of local governments to learn from one another, share best practices, and build networks to deliver better public services for communities.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Under the theme \u201cIt\u2019s Not About Being the Most Digital, but the Most Impactful,\u201d the forum emphasized that the success of digital transformation should not be measured by the number of applications a government has, but by the extent to which technology can deliver services that are simple, secure, integrated, and provide tangible benefits. The discussions explored diverse perspectives on data governance, public service innovation, and strengthening cybersecurity as a foundation for public trust in digital government services.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n During the dialogue session, the Mayor of Bandung highlighted the importance of developing integrated, data-driven digital transformation. Through the development of the Satu Data platform, Regional Dashboard, and the utilization of Artificial Intelligence, Bandung City is positioning technology as a tool to accelerate decision-making and improve the quality of public services. Meanwhile, the Mayor of Medan emphasized that digitalization must create a direct impact on government administration, including through the modernization of local tax systems as part of a strategy to increase Locally Generated Revenue (PAD). Through the QRESTO innovation, digital transformation is expected to deliver more effective public services while simultaneously strengthening local fiscal capacity.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n From a national perspective, the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) reminded participants that digital transformation can only be sustainable when built upon a strong cybersecurity foundation. BSSN emphasized that \u201cCyber resilience is not built when an attack occurs, but long before it happens,\u201d through good governance, the implementation of security by design, human resource capacity building, and cross-sector collaboration.
