Jakarta<\/strong> \u2013 APEKSI was present at the launch of FutureGen for Change (FGC) 2.0, a collaborative program with the Pijar Foundation supported by the UK\u2013Indonesia Tech Hub, British Embassy in Jakarta, to accelerate the birth of innovative solutions for various urban challenges. Carrying the theme Shape What Comes Next: Co-Creating Solutions for Future-Ready Cities, the launch of FGC is a momentum to bring together city governments and startups in building an innovation ecosystem capable of responding to urban challenges in a sustainable manner.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In this collaboration, APEKSI acts as a strategic partner that connects the city government’s innovation needs with the startup and technology ecosystem. The FGC 2.0 program is a continuation of the success of the first cycle which encouraged collaboration between local governments and innovators to develop real solutions in the fields of climate resilience, waste management, public health, food systems, mobility, and inclusive economic growth. APEKSI cities in FGC 2.0 are Medan City and Malang City, apart from Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City. The previous program was attended by Semarang City, Bogor City and Palembang City.
